The TANK 700 in the Platinum Ultra version is equipped with the Hi4-T hybrid technology with a charging capability. It has a total power of up to 517 hp and 800 Nm of torque: such a power unit is rarely found even in the flagships of European brands. The power unit uses a parallel design, with both a classic gasoline engine and an electric motor. The car can travel up to 100 kilometers on electricity alone, and when the battery is low, it will run on a gasoline engine. The battery can be charged from an external power source or from the engine while driving and braking.
Fuel consumption of 2.97 l/100 km in the combined cycle and impressive dynamics (acceleration to 100 km/h in 5.9 seconds) put the TANK 700 on a par with the world’s best hybrid SUVs.
Air suspension with clearance adjustment from 205 to 325 mm and three differential locks provide high cross-country ability even in the harshest conditions, for example, in difficult off-road areas or when fording water obstacles. The SUV can ford streams up to 90 cm deep and has a disconnectable front anti-roll bar – functions that are not often found in cars of this class and provide even more off-road capabilities.
