The technology park for the production of auto components, part of Astana Motors, is located on an area of 100,000 square meters near the operating plant Hyundai Trans Kazakhstan in the Industrial Zone of Almaty.

After completion of the construction, the area of production facilities will be more than 46,000 square meters.

The technology park will supply its products as auto components to Hyundai Trans Kazakhstan plants, the multi-brand plant Astana Motors Manufacturing Kazakhstan, as well as other automobile plants in Kazakhstan.

The technology park will employ about 798 personnel, of which about 150 specialists will work in the production of auto components. Investments in the construction of the technology park will total about 61.2 billion tenge.

Plant for the production of multimedia systems for cars

The plant for the production of multimedia systems was put into operation in the autumn of 2024. The area of the plant’s production facilities is about 1400 square meters. The production capacity is 100,000 multimedia systems per year. Electronic audio and video equipment manufactured by the plant is already supplied to Hyundai Trans Kazakhstan in Almaty.

The project is also being implemented jointly with a foreign partner, the South Korean company Youngsan, which has extensive experience in the production of auto components. At the end of December 2024, the enterprise launched the production of a pilot batch of car seats to verify the quality of equipment, raw materials, and manufactured products. Mass production started in February 2025 after the commissioning of the plant. The planned capacity of the plant is up to 100,000 sets of seats per year.
