In January 2011, Hyundai truck and bus assembly plant was opened in Talgar district of Almaty region near Almaty International Airport.
In 2012, Hyundai Trans Almaty started assembling Hyundai County passenger buses with 16-21 seats.
The buses meet Euro 4 and Euro 5 standards that significantly influences upon improvement of ecological situation. The company also started producing County Ambulance on the basis of the County bus chassis.
The production capacity of the plant is 10,000 vehicles per year. The territory of the enterprise is 10.2 hectares, and the plant area together with a free warehouse is 16,855 square meters.

The model range includes vehicles with a loading capacity from 2 to 20 tons on the basis of Hyundai HD 35L, HD 65, HD 78, including sided, insulated, and refrigerator vans. They will be the best alternatives according to price/quality ratio. Hyundai commercial vehicles are the most competitive vehicles in comparison with vehicles of other producers.
