The Updated, Kazakhstan-Made Haval H6 Goes on Sale

The updated Haval H6 is now available in Kazakhstan, according to Astana Motors, Haval’s authorized distributor.

The Haval H6 is one of the most popular mid-size family crossovers (C-SUVs) in China, where the model has held a leading position in the segment for many years. The model has received an updated design, is more powerful and technologically advanced, and, most importantly, is even closer to Kazakhstani buyers thanks to local production at the Astana Motors Manufacturing Kazakhstan plant and the introduction of the Kazakh language in the multimedia menu.

The model features a high-quality interior trim with improved sound insulation.

The Haval H6 emphasizes its modern character. A new, elegant trapezoidal grille, a combined headlight cluster with distinctive daytime running lights, and updated taillights create a wider and more impressive silhouette, while 19-inch wheels enhance the sporty accent.

The Haval H6 is available in Kazakhstan as a five-seat version. Dimensions have increased slightly: the length has grown by 50 mm to 4,703 mm, which has a positive impact on cabin space and trunk volume—560 liters. The car’s width is 1,886 mm, and its height is 1,730 mm. The wheelbase is 2,738 mm.

Local production at the Astana Motors Manufacturing Kazakhstan plant allowed the car to be adapted to the climate and real-world road conditions of our country.

The Haval H6 features an intelligent transmission with six driving modes: standard, economy, sport, snow, sand, and off-road. It features DCT technology, GWM's proprietary know-how, which reduces fuel consumption, lowers CO2 emissions, and enhances car performance. Two turbocharged engines are available: a 1.5T with 184 hp and a 2.0T with 238 hp. Both options have become even more powerful while maintaining strong torque at low revs. The H6 uses a Borg-Warner all-wheel drive system and a sixth-generation Haldex clutch.

One of the key improvements is language localization. The multimedia system interface now includes a Kazakh-language menu. Combined with a larger 14.6-inch screen and an updated center console, the system has become more intuitive and user-friendly,” noted Eduard Kuznetsov, CEO of Haval Motor Kazakhstan.

Safety and comfort technologies also feature prominently in the updated car. A 360-degree surround-view camera with a transparent hood (560°) provides a detailed image of the area around the car, helping you maneuver confidently in parking lots and on uneven roads. The Level 2 ADAS system offers more than twenty driver assistance features, reducing the burden on long journeys. These features keep the car in its lane, monitor distance, monitor blind spots, and assist with parking, making driving significantly safer and more comfortable. A premium sound system with nine speakers completes the package.

The Haval H6 starts at 11,890,000 tenge. The car comes with a six-year warranty (or 200,000 km, whichever comes first).
