ASTANA MOTORS CAR DEALERS RESUME THEIR WORK
We suspended the work of the Astana Motors car dealers due to the fact that disorders started in Almaty on January 5, 2022 and the state of emergency was announced.
For safety reasons, we evacuated our employees, removed the office machines and equipment, moved the vehicles to a safe place, and tightened the security of the car dealers.
No employee of the car dealers was injured during the disorders. Buildings of the car dealers were not damaged as well. However, on the night of January 5th to 6th, looters attempted to enter the buildings of Hyundai Qalqaman and Subaru Haval Almaty, but there was nothing to steal.
Hyundai Trans Almaty commercial vehicle enterprise and Hyundai Trans Kazakhstan passenger car plant have been taken under increased protection. The territory of Hyundai Trans Kazakhstan plant in the Industrial Zone has been blocked around its perimeter.
The dealers of Astana Motors resumed their work in Kazakhstan on January 10th, with the exception of Almaty. The Almaty dealers are planning to open the doors for their clients on January 12th.
