HYUNDAI AUTO KAZAKHSTAN PARTICIPATES IN THE INTERNATIONAL TECHNICAL SPECIALIST OLYMPICS IN SOUTH KOREA
Yegor Zavyalov, an employee of Hyundai Center Pavlodar dealership (Pavlodar), represents Kazakhstan on behalf of Hyundai’s official Kazakhstan dealer at the international stage of the Skills Olympic.
Participants from Russia and the CIS countries who won the regional Olympics in Moscow take part in the World Skills Olympic in October 2021 to be held online due to the pandemic.
The final stage of the 8th Olympics of technical specialists of Hyundai Russia and the CIS dealership network has recently taken place in Russia (Moscow), with Hyundai Auto Kazakhstan employees Yegor Zavyalov (Hyundai Center Pavlodar, Pavlodar) and Grigory Mintyan (Hyundai Center Semey, Semey) as participants.
Technical specialists competed at Hyundai Training Academy in Moscow in two stages: first they had to take a written test of their knowledge of automobile systems and the company history, and then they detected faults within a restricted period of time. 386 technical specialists from Russia, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, and Kazakhstan participated in the Olympics.
“We would like to thank all employees of the official Hyundai dealerships in Kazakhstan who demonstrated superior skills at the Olympics. We are proud that real professionals work at our dealerships. We congratulate Yegor Zavyalov on excellent results at the Olympics in Russia and wish that he properly represents Kazakhstan at the Olympics in South Korea. May the best specialist win!” said Head of Hyundai Auto Kazakhstan Denis Kolomatsky.
He also added that a new generation of true professional had grown up in the country, and Hyundai Auto Kazakhstan would continue investing into human capital development and the expansion of the team of specialists.
Yegor Zavyalov and Grigory Mintyan received the right to participate in the Olympics in Russia after winning the Olympic of technical specialists of Hyundai dealership network in Kazakhstan, the results of which were summed up by Hyundai Auto Kazakhstan in April 2021. Participants were selected in two stages; they were evaluated by certified trainers of Hyundai Training Center (Almaty), Hyundai Training Academy, and Hyundai CIS headquarters (Moscow).
In order to pass the theoretical test, 56 specialists from 20 Kazakhstan dealerships had to answer 30 questions about automobile systems and the company’s history. 13 contestants who advanced to the second round had been interviewed online about the diagnostics of Hyundai automobile systems. As a result of fair competition, two best mechanics — Yegor Zavyalov and Grigory Mintyan — were selected to participate in the Olympics in Moscow.
