99-YEAR-OLD ALMATY RESIDENT WAS GIFTED A CHERYTIGGO2 CAR

Chery International and Chery Kazakhstan, the official distributor of Astana Motors, gifted a car to the centenarian couple, Vladimir Dmitrievich and Tamara Ivanovna Belozerov

Vladimir Dmitrievich was born in 1925 and lived most of his life in Kazakhstan. Since 1950, he has been residing in Almaty; he devoted almost 30 years of his life to the Almaty Construction Materials Plant, and even after retiring he continued to work there; as a traveling specialist, he visited almost all regions of Kazakhstan, sharing his experience with new personnel.

Belozerov has his own recipe for long life. “At the age of 45, I became acquainted with a healthy lifestyle and changed my daily routine. I got up at 5 am, jogged from Dzhandosov Street to Tole bi Street and back, did some fitness workout for an hour and went to work by 8 am.”

Belozerov lived this sports regime for 25 years; a surgery forced him to give up running, but morning workout and a two-hour walk, even in winter, are still mandatory in his daily routine. Similar to chess, they tone the “muscles” of the brain.

Vladimir Dmitrievich is a motivating example of optimism, perseverance, and hard work. The term ‘self-made’ not automatically stands for a successful manager or entrepreneur; it’s about the fact that we can “make” our life ourselves.

Chery International is known for its social initiatives all over the world, in all the regions the company has its representative offices. The areas of interest include supporting sports, inclusion, and charity.

Nurlan Shamgonov, director of official distribution for Chery Kazakhstan: “Business is not possible without partnership! We have been working collaboratively with Chery International for almost three years, and they not only appeared in the market and studied it, they live next to us, sharing our problems. Subsequently, in 2022 they donated a car to our care recipient, the Association of Disabled People, aka “ERZI”, last year the company transferred 50 million tenge to victims of forest fires in Semey Ormany, this year it gave 50 million tenge to victims of floods.”
