In May 2021, with the support of the Nurlan Smagulov Fund, a lift shaft was constructed in the building of ERZI Association of Disabled, and a lift was installed to enable wheelchair users to move freely about five floors, so that all those floors could be given to the rehabilitation center.

Atasu Group, a logistic company cooperating with the Nurlan Smagulov Fund, has donated two modern exercise machines for disabled persons to the Association.

Azhar Ayazbayeva, 26: «I have been disabled since childhood (due to a disease). It is the fifth year now that I have been visiting «Erzi”. My physical well-being has improved, although it is quite hard in my case, as I suffer from muscular atrophy. I train on exercise machines, on gym mats, and visit a psychologist. The team is very friendly and cordial. Yerbol Igembergenov, the founder of «Erzi”, is very kind, sympathetic and fair. He is always ready to help, to say something encouraging. The food is always fresh and tasty. I like it a lot. Sometimes we go to the country, walk about the city, or arrange holidays. This year, a lift has been installed for our convenience, repairs are currently underway on other floors, and new equipment has been bought. And all this is for us, and thanks to Yerbol and the trustees, Nurlan Smagulov and Marat Juman. We are very grateful to all of them! There is no other place like this in our city, so this center is the only opportunity for us, disabled people, to communicate and maintain our physical well-being, to adapt ourselves to the social environment. I hope the center continues helping disabled people in our city will in the future.”
