A New Legend: The Restyled TANK 300 Now Available in Kazakhstan

Sales of the updated TANK 300, a stylish and powerful SUV from Great Wall Motors, have started in Kazakhstan. The car is available at authorized dealers.

The TANK 300 features updated design elements and modern technologies, but remains true to its roots—just as rugged and reliable on any road.

“After the upgrade, the frame SUV has received a richer selection of modern technology and combines outstanding off-road capability with sophisticated comfort and safety. It excels in both urban and extreme conditions, where high reliability and the ability to overcome challenging obstacles are required, which will especially appeal to Kazakhstani off-road enthusiasts,” said Eduard Kuznetsov, CEO of Haval Motor Kazakhstan.

The TANK 300 is a popular model in the TANK family, which has been available in Kazakhstan since May 2023 through its distributor, Astana Motors. Since then, more than 2,500 SUVs have been sold, and a TANK fan club has been established, with over 1,680 members. This is clear evidence of the demand for these cars among Kazakhstanis.

The TANK 300 City Plus

Authorized dealers offer three trim levels to choose from: Premium, Tech Plus, and the flagship City Plus. Each has received its own updates. However, the City Plus has been the most modernized. This is the most popular version of the SUV, designed for those who prefer the rhythm of the city. A new distinguishing feature is that exterior door handles, wheel arch extensions, and rearview mirrors are painted in the same color as the body. The wheels are now 18 inches in diameter and have received a new design.

The interior of the City Plus SUV was also updated to become more stylish and comfortable. Every detail was carefully considered, creating a premium atmosphere and reflecting the impeccable trim quality. The headliner is finished in classic black, creating a cozy and intimate feeling. New features include double-glazed windows, tinted rear windows, and a redesigned steering wheel, similar in appearance to that in the top-of-the-line TANK500 model. All these now come in all three trim levels: Premium, Tech Plus, and City Plus.

All SUV versions are equipped with a multimedia system with Apple CarPlay/Android Auto and 50W wireless charging with a cooling function.

Furthermore, GWM expanded the TANK 300’s off-road capabilities. The updated models now have four all-wheel drive modes (4A, 4H, 4L, and 2H) instead of the previous two (AWD and 4L). The number of off-road mode settings also increased from three to five. The City Plus is equipped with automatic all-wheel drive (TOD). This allows flexible use of the car’s capabilities both off-road and on slippery surfaces. The Premium and Tech Plus versions are equipped with part-time all-wheel drive. This ensures reliable operation in extreme off-road conditions. It is ideal for those who appreciate strong traction and absolute control.
