The Short Track World Cup took place for the first time in Almaty

The third stage of the Short Track World Cup was held in IP “Halyk Arena” on December 7-9, 2018.

Over 150 athletes from all over the world arrived in Almaty. In the final races, Kazakhstan was represented by two athletes: Anastasia Krestova and Abzal Azhgaliyev. Krestova finished up in the 4^th place. Kim Yong Hee (South Korea) became a winner. Yekaterina Efremenko (Russia) took the 2^nd place. Jinu Lee (China) was in the 3^rd place. As for Abzal Azhgaliyev, he showed the fifth result in the final.
