During the visit, the Minister was shown the welding, painting, and assembly workshops, as well as finished products at the Astana Motors Manufacturing Kazakhstan plant.
Astana Motors presented Kazakhstan-made pickup trucks, which will subsequently be handed over to the Ministry for Emergency Situations.

These vehicles are produced at Astana Motors’ commercial vehicle plant in Almaty, where specialized vehicles used in emergency response operations are manufactured. Particular attention is paid to the reliability of the equipment and its adaptation to various operating conditions.

The parties discussed the development of production and the expansion of the specialized vehicle lineup. The need to increase the share of local content and reduce dependence on imported components was highlighted.
Following the meeting, the importance of further cooperation was emphasized. The development of domestic production of specialized equipment contributes to strengthening the material and technical base of the Ministry’s units and enhancing their readiness to respond to emergencies.
