Turkestan Region Receives 60 Modern Hyundai Staria Ambulances

Sixty new ambulances have been handed over to medical facilities in all districts of the region by Turkestan Region Akim Nuralkhan Kusherov.

The ceremonial handover took place on Turkestan’s central square. The Hyundai Staria Ambulances were distributed to each district of the region to update and strengthen their medical emergency fleets.

Turkestan Region Akim (Mayor) Nuralkhan Kusherov emphasized the importance of the project for the region’s healthcare system:

“Developing the healthcare system and improving emergency response are our top priorities. These modern ambulances will significantly improve the accessibility and quality of medical care in remote communities,” the Akim noted.

The ambulances were manufactured at the Hyundai Trans Kazakhstan plant in Almaty. The vehicle is equipped with a powerful gasoline engine. With a spacious interior, the Hyundai Staria Ambulance is highly maneuverable and can navigate busy residential areas and narrow courtyards. Each vehicle is fully equipped with modern medical emergency equipment from leading global manufacturers, including life support systems, shock-absorbing stretchers, communication systems, and navigation systems.

The Hyundai Staria Ambulance meets international standards and is designed for the rapid transportation of patients, including those living in remote areas.

The vehicles are donated as part of a regional healthcare modernization program aimed at enhancing the facilities and equipment of medical institutions in the Turkestan region.

The Hyundai Staria-based ambulance was first presented by Hyundai’s distributor, part of Astana Motors, at the 3rd International Specialized Exhibition “Kazakhstan Machinery Fair 2023” in Astana. The new vehicle received high praise from the government delegation.
