“Tour of Almaty-2013”: start of great race!

KMC "Astana Motors" with brand Hyundai was the official sponsor of The First International Cycle Race "Tour of Almaty 2013" in Kazakhstan. It was started with great success on 6 October in the south capital.

"Tour of Almaty 2013" is the first race under the auspices of UCI (International Cycling Union) which was in our country. 20 lead teams from 16 countries of Europe, Asia and America contended in the largest megalopolis of the Republic of Kazakhstan. There were three teams from Kazakhstan – national team, continental team Astana and club Vino 4-ever.

Triumphant of "Tour of Almaty” was representative of the Republic of Kazakhstan national team Maxim Iglinskiy. Sonny Colbrelli – Italian, finished second by a huge margin from Maxim. Bronze medalist was also representative of the Republic of Kazakhstan national team Ruslan Tleubayev.

KMC "Astana Motors" provided 34 Hyundai automobiles to maintain world class competitions: compact hatchbacks Accent as service cars of teams assistance, automobiles for press and doping control, modern wagons i40 and business-sedans Genesis for race commissioners and VIP-visitors, such as our famous bicycle racer Alexander Vinokurov, as well as executive Equus for the Race Director.

Moreover, KMC "Astana Motors" presented special prize to the most promising Kazakhstan team – Vino 4-ever. Now it has own service car Hyundai Accent!
