The All-New Hyundai PALISADE Arrived in Kazakhstan!

Hyundai in Kazakhstan announced the start of sales of the new generation PALISADE!

Sales of the all-new Hyundai PALISADE have started in Kazakhstan. This is the second generation of the full-size SUV, which offers even more advanced technology, space, reliability, and safety. It is ideal for those who put a premium on status, style, and comfort, and especially for outdoor adventurers.

The new generation of the flagship is available in the following trim levels: Prestige, Luxe, and the special Calligraphy series. A wide body color range of nine shades is offered, from shimmering silver metallic to emerald and dark blue shades.

The flagship status of the PALISADE is emphasized by its “monumental” appearance. The SUV impresses with its dimensions. In comparison with the previous generation, the car received more powerful and imposing outlines, with its length increased to 5065 mm, width to 1980 mm, and height to 1805 mm. The wheelbase has become wider by 70 mm – to 2970 mm, adding stability on the road, ride smoothness, and extra interior space.

The new design emphasizes vertical and horizontal lines, which is noticeably reflected in the shape of the daytime running lights. The massive chrome grille makes the car look even more solid. Improved aerodynamics (0.31 drag coefficient) gives a streamlined profile. The diameter of the wheels in the Calligraphy series has increased to 21 inches.

In Kazakhstan, the new SUV is equipped with a 249 hp 2.5-liter Smartstream 2.5T-GDI gasoline engine with a maximum torque of 422 Nm, mated with an 8-speed automatic transmission. Fuel consumption in the combined cycle is 10 liters per 100 km. Four-wheel drive (4WD) gives the car improved cross-country capability, directional stability and strong traction, which is especially helpful in rainy and snowy weather. There are four driving modes to choose from: Auto, Mud, Sand, or Snow. The suspension is adapted to the increased size, ensuring comfort, and good control of the car on the road.

Due to its impressive dimensions, the car provides plenty of space. This is a substantial advantage for long trips and journeys with the family. There are 7- and 8-seater versions, where you can comfortably sit in the 2nd and 3rd row. The 2nd row seats are power adjustable, ventilated, and heated. All rear seats fold into a perfectly flat floor, expanding the luggage space from 317 to 2098 liters. There are also several storage niches and cup holders.

The interior of the all-new PALISADE is meticulously crafted. The trim uses new colors and premium materials. For example, the color range of Nappa leather used for seat upholstery has been expanded (black, brown, blue/gray and even a new shade of dark coal are offered). Improved sound insulation in the cabin, especially in the rear, brings more comfort for listening to music or talking.

The panoramic curved display features a 12.3″ instrument panel and a 12.3″ multimedia system. There is a 12″ HUD projection display for the driver to see all important information on the windshield without being distracted from the road. There is also touch climate control, a voice assistant and wireless smartphone charging. Each row is equipped with 100 W USB-C connectors.

Like all models of the South Korean brand, the new-generation PALISADE comes with Hyundai Smart Sense for safe driving. It includes Forward Collision Avoidance Assist (FCA 1.5), Blind-Spot View Monitor (BVM), Lane Follow Assist (LFA2), Remote Smart Parking Assist (RSPA), especially helpful in tight spaces, and other driver assistants.

The updated car has a top-rated safety system, which received the best score in KNCAP and IIHS (Top Safety Pick). It gives drivers peace of mind even on the most difficult roads. In particular, the car has seven airbags, including driver knee protection, and seat belts with pre-tensioners, which in the event of a crash firmly secure the passenger’s body to the seat without impact on their chest.
