SPORTS ACHIEVEMENTS OF VINO - ASTANA MOTORS

The continental cycling team continues to delight us with its achievements.

Since the beginning of the year, a youth team has received several awards for their sports achievements. At the Winter Championship of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Taraz, Vino - Astana Motors won a gold medal in TTT (team time trial). At that time, Alexey Voloshin became a winner of the group race. In early May, Stepan Astafyev won a ranking and took the 2^nd place in the general classification in the Tour of Sri Lanka. Earlier in March, he also won the Grand Prix of Side in Turkey. Later, the team attended a training camp in Almaty.

Just for reference, Vino - Astana Motors is a continental cycling team, which was founded in 2014 by Alexander Vinokourov, a Kazakhstani professional cyclist and an Olympic champion. The team has been supported by President of Astana Group Nurlan Smagulov since 2017. Arman Kamyshev, a former member of the Astana Pro Team and a champion of Kazakhstan in 2016, joined the team this year.
