The HAVAL Dargo is based on the L.E.M.O.N. platform, which allowed reducing the vehicle weight, increasing dynamics and fuel efficiency, and improving safety due to the body strength.

Powerful and Environmentally Friendly

The HAVAL Dargo is powered by a 2-liter turbocharged 192-hp gasoline engine and a 7-speed 7DCT automated transmission. The advantages of the engine include fuel economy, low emissions, easy maintenance, a low weight and high performance. The SUV accelerates quickly and smoothly with an engine torque efficiency of 98.8% and a gear shift speed of 0.2 seconds.

The GW4N20 series engine by GWM was included in the top 10 best engines according to the China Heart 2020 rating and is recognized as a technological breakthrough for the Chinese automotive industry.

The HAVAL Dargo is available in front-wheel and all-wheel drive versions. The electronically controlled Haldex 5 Generation clutch is responsible for the all-wheel drive. The system automatically distributes power between the front and rear wheels for optimal traction and handling.

Stylish and Comfortable

HAVAL Dargo is distinguished by its urban design and original geometry. The car looks bold and confident, which is reinforced by round LED headlights, a trapezoidal grille with smooth angles, square wheel arches, and decorative rear lights united by a single line.

The interior of the HAVAL Dargo combines luxury, comfort and technology. The interior uses high‑quality materials and is available in perforated leather and Alcantara (synthetic suede) side inserts in the top configuration. The driver’s seat has a massage function.

Owners will appreciate the spacious luggage compartment both in the city and during out-of-town trips.

There are three screens on the front panel: a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster display, a 12.3-inch touchscreen multimedia system display, a head-up display for speed monitoring, sign recognition, and cruise control data.

Safe and Smart

The HAVAL Dargo comes with seven airbags: front and side airbags for the front row, curtain airbags along the entire length of the cabin, and a knee airbag for the driver.

The car received several preventive safety systems:

  • Adaptive cruise control (ACC) with a low-speed function.
  • Autonomous emergency braking system (AEB) with pedestrian and bicycle detection.
  • Lane departure warning system with lane keeping assist and lane centre keeping functions (LDW + LKA + LCK).
  • Emergency lane keeping (ELK).
  • Blind spot monitoring (BSM + LCA).
  • Crossroads collision avoidance system (AEB Crossroad).
  • Traffic sign recognition (TSR), rear collision warning (RCW) and door open warning (DOW).
  • Rear cross traffic alert (RCTA) with braking (RCTB).

The so-called transparent hood function is particularly noteworthy. The screen displays an image from the front camera taken seconds before passing an obstacle. Depending on driving speed, the image is synchronized so that the screen displays a real-time image of the space directly under the front wheels, and the outlines of the wheels and the front bumper are superimposed on it.
