Ambulance for the Doctors
807 new ambulance cars will be delivered to doctors in Kazakhstan by the end of 2020.
70% of the ambulance fleet of the country is obsolete and needs renovation. The shortage of modern vehicles is especially acute in the difficult epidemiological conditions of COVID-19.
As part of the ambulance renovation program in Kazakhstan, by the end of this year, the medical organization in 15 regions of the country will receive 807 ambulances, 11 mobile medical units and 8 mobile laboratory units for COVID-19 testing.
“Materials and equipment play an important role in the work of medical professionals. This is especially important during the pandemic, when doctors mobilize all their efforts to provide professional medical care to the population and work in difficult conditions. New ambulances are outfitted with modern equipment, which allows to improve the medical aid efficiency”, stressed Nurlan Baibazarov, Chairman of BRK-Leasing.
Let us recall that in 2019, the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Industry and Infrastructure Development of Kazakhstan approved the Roadmap for Ambulance Renovation through the Leasing Financing Mechanism of BRK-Leasing.
The Roadmap specifies the following conditions for the health administrations of regional akimats and cities of republican significance: lease period up to 7 years at 7% interest rate without advance payments and with grace period up to 12 months. For these purposes, the financing was provided in the amount of 31.8 bln tenge. The vehicle suppliers are the domestic manufacturers SayarkaAvtoProm LLP, SemAz LLP and Hyundai Trans Auto LLP.
“Our objective is to start the supplies as soon as possible. This program has social effect but it’s not just preservation of jobs and support of the domestic car industry, but also measures aimed at improving the quality of life of Kazakhstan’s people”, stressed the Association of Kazakhstan Automobile Business.
