Chery’s Fastest Crossover Tiggo 8 Pro Max Available for Pre-Order in Kazakhstan
Chery remains the sales leader among Chinese car brands in Kazakhstan.
The luxury all-wheel drive SUV CHERY TIGGO 8 PRO MAX is the long-awaited latest model of the Chinese car brand. Chery’s authorized distributor in Kazakhstan, First Motor Group (part of Astana Motors), has announced the start of pre-orders. The price starts from 18.9 million tenge.
Car experts, bloggers and Nur-Sultan journalists were the first to see the SUV at a media breakfast in the capital. The guests could go for a short test drive as well as learn all about the new model and Chery’s activities in Kazakhstan.
“Chery has sold about 1900 new cars in Kazakhstan between the sales launch in December 2021 and this August, inclusive. Following the eight months of 2022, Chery ranked sixth among the most popular car brands, and first among Chinese car brands represented in Kazakhstan. Chery showed a 37% month on month sales growth in Kazakhstan: 523 new cars were sold in August and 378 in July,” said Yermek Zheksembaev, director of Chery’s sales department in Kazakhstan.
Kazakhstani dealerships currently also offer the CHERY TIGGO 4 PRO (presented in August), the CHERY TIGGO 7 PRO, and the CHERY TIGGO 8 PRO SUVs.

The CHERY TIGGO 8 PRO MAX has a bold modern appearance and eye-catching headlights. It is different from the front-wheel drive TIGGO 8 PRO with a silver chrome insert around the radiator grille, smoky white tail lights, a dual-tailpipe exhaust system, and an AWD badge on the trunk lid.
And it is very spacious! The CHERY TIGGO 8 PRO MAX has a seven-seater luxury cabin. The third-row seats can be folded down when there are only five passengers in the car, which increases the trunk volume to 1179 liters. With the second-row seats folded down, it goes up to 2101 liters.

Chery dealerships are open in Nur-Sultan, Almaty, Shymkent, Kostanay, Uralsk, Aktobe, Atyrau, Karaganda, and Pavlodar.
Nine more will open by the end of the year: one in Nur-Sultan and Almaty (Mycar Kuldzhinka) each, as well as in Aktau, Zhezkazgan, Kokshetau, Kyzylorda, Taraz, Ust‑Kamenogorsk, and Petropavlovsk.

The first online dealership was opened in August 2022. The IT company Mycar.kz partnered up with Chery’s authorized distributor and received the right to sell the Chinese brand’s new cars.
The service allows booking a test drive or buying a car remotely, with free home delivery within 72 hours from the date of the transaction.
