Motor rally “Steppe Wolves”: decent final of the season

28 January, Kazakhstan Motor Company “Astana Motors” summarized activity results for 2013.

29 November – 1 December, there was the 6th stage of Motor Rally Kazakhstan Championship – “Steppe Wolves” in Almaty oblast; it was the final race of rally season – 2013. KMC “Astana Motors” was general sponsor of the competition under the auspices of RoK Auto-Motor Sports Federation.

17 crews gathered from Almaty, Pavlodar, and East-Kazakhstan and South-Kazakhstan oblasts to divide final places of the season. They should run 120km of special speed sections which, in spite of winter, were like summer route. Soft sand speed sections allowed sportsmen and women to show high speeds and good time.

Totally, places at winners' podium were divided as follows:

1 place – Peter Borodin – Roman Cheprasov, team of “Astana Motors” – Steppe Wolves”
2 place – Paul Fomenko – Igor Belonogov, team of EMC rally team
3 place – Maxim Fominskikh – Anastasia Kiryakova, Pavlodar

Class RK 11
1 place – Dmitry Plyasov – Dias Matsunov, Almaty
2 place – Daulet Orazaliyev – Dmitry Borovikov, team of MobilEX rally team
3 place – Oleg Danilchenko – Alexey Kazanovskiy, Almaty

Medalists and winners of the competitions were awarded with prizes and gifts at the awarding ceremony on 1 December in SEC Mega Alma-Ata. Congratulate sportsmen and women!
