CITIZENS OF KAZAKHSTAN CHOOSE CHINESE VEHICLES: CHERY IS TO ENLARGE ITS DEALERSHIP NETWORK

Affordable price of crossovers, high quality and availability of vehicles in the showrooms are the advantages of Chinese vehicles. The network of Chery dealership centers is going to cover the whole Kazakhstan in the nearest future, says the official distributor First Motor Group being part of Astana Motors.

The sales of Chery vehicles were launched in the official dealership centers on the 10th of December. By March, they entered TOP-15 brands in the country according to the data provided by the Kazakhstan Auto Business Association (KABA). Since the beginning of the year, monthly average vehicle sales growth, month by month from January until March, is 104%.

The dealership centers operate in Nur-Surlan, Almaty, Atyrau, Kostanay, and in March they were set up in Shymkent and Uralsk.

Three more are going to open in Aktobe, Karaganda and Aktau in April and May. Plans are underway to enlarge the dealership network up to 17 and cover all regions of Kazakhstan by 2023.

It is worth noting that First Motor Group being part of Astana Motors officially represents the Chery brand in Kazakhstan. In September last year, Astana Motors and Chery Automobile Co., Ltd signed a distributor agreement.

Which Chery models are best-selling in Kazakhstan?

Most often, Kazakhstan people choose the Tiggo 7 PRO crossover. The price starts from 12.2 mln KZT for Premium version, and 12.8 mln KZT for Luxury version.
At the same time, such crossovers as Tiggo 4 (from 7.9 mln KZT), Tiggo 8 (from 12.5 mln KZT) and Tiggo 8 Pro (from 13.9 mln KZT) may be acquired in the dealerships.
