27 January, transfer of new medical equipment to “Perinatal centre” of Akmola oblast was implemented in Kokshetau. Funds for modern equipment were raised during charity bike ride, where KMC “Astana Motors” was one of the active partners.

Bike ride supported by charity fund “Asyl Miras” was in August of the preceding year in Borovoe. Modern medical equipment for premature newborns care was bought for funds raised following the results of the bike ride. Recently, it was transferred to perinatal centers of Akmola and Kyzylorda oblasts.

Until recently, “Perinatal centre” in Kokshetau for obstructed labor from all over the Akmola oblast was restricted in its opportunities. Only newborns born in the center itself may be under comprehensive medical treatment. Now, its departments are equipped with modern equipment in sufficient quantity, thereby, here, all newborns from 18 regions of the oblast may be under medical treatment regardless of place of birth.

Complete set of new equipment at the cost of about 56 mln.tenge includes artificial lung ventilation apparatuses, dispensing equipment, monitors, compressors and other equipment for delivery of high-performance health care and preterm infant care.
