Namely, he presents the model range, pricing conditions, customization options for requirements and expectations of the local consumer, as well as brand localization at a multibrand plant the construction of which has been announced in September by Astana Motors.

Some models popular both on the global market and in the countries adjacent to Kazakhstan are already available at the dealerships. These are HAVAL Jolion, HAVAL Dargo, F7, and F7Х. The POER Pickup is expected in showrooms starting from November 2022.

Carol Chan dwells on the company’s pricing: Great Wall Motor continuously invests in new developments, however, without any impact on the final cost for the consumer, so Haval is basically a “premium brand at the price of comfort”. Cars of the brand fall into the mid-price segment of crossovers available on the market of Kazakhstan while featuring top specifications and technologies. Statistics of Haval brand sales and customer satisfaction is at a high level around the world with 7 million cars sold and unwavering popularity of car models. Thus, in China the H6 model has been keeping lead in the SUV segment for 9 years.

Great Wall Motor plans to expand its model range in Kazakhstan with some 3 new models under consideration, however, the details are yet to be revealed.  According to Carol Chan, the plan is currently being finalized, and in the nearest future they will announce not only updates to the range at the dealerships, but also car models to be manufactured at the Astana Motors multibrand plant. As James Yang states, Great Wall Motor has a rich history of joint ventures: “We have good knowledge of the process, moreover, Astana Motors also has extensive experience in both sales and manufacture of cars, so we are optimistic about our plans.”
