“Having set up CKD production of Chery, Haval and Changan cars, we plan to localize the production of car components of Chinese brands in Kazakhstan and are currently negotiating with potential partners. Astana Motors and Chinese brand holders are open for cooperation with Kazakhstan’s enterprises with proven product quality, in particular, the suppliers of certified raw materials and manufacturers of components that can be used in car production at the multi-brand plant,” said Beknur Nessipbayev, CEO of Astana Motors.

He also added that at the first stage the company aims to supply car components to the domestic market and in the future export them to neighboring countries.
