CS55 PLUS И CS35 PLUS: MEET NEW ALMATY CARS
The Ritz Carlton hotel in Almaty hosted the presentation of new Changan cars. The models were presented by Silkway Auto Kazakhstan, the official distributor of the brand (part of Astana Motors).
The presentation was attended by journalists, auto bloggers, celebrities, and opinion leaders from Almaty, Shymkent, and Astana. CS55 Plus and updated CS35 Plus were the main heroes of the night.
Both models are SUVs that are popular on Kazakhstan’s market now. CS55 Plus and CS35 Plus can confidently be called reference SUVs – dimensions, power, temper – created for the city, its rhythm and “the rhythm of your life”.
The CIS market has been waiting for CS55 Plus since early 2022. Kazakhstan is the first to present this model as well as updated CS35 Plus.
CS35 Plus is compact, easy to drive, equipped with smart assistants specifically for city-style driving. The model has front-wheel drive, a 1.4-liter turbocharged engine, 150 hp and a torque of 255 N⋅m, 7-speed robotic gearbox.

The spectacular appearance of the car was accompanied by detailed introduction. The first impression from the combination of the design and power characteristics of CS55 Plus is that it’s brutal and sporty! A stylish radiator grill, a predatory squint of LED daytime running lights, a shark fin antenna, a 1.5T turbo engine produces 181 hp and 280 N⋅m of torque.
CS55 Plus also has front-wheel drive – an urban car does not need to conquer offroad, but flexibility and built-in intelligence are important to adapt to both the rhythm of a big city and the intensity of its traffic jams. To this end, the car is equipped with smart systems: the driver’s smart assistants include an adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning and emergency braking systems, lane departure warning system, and 360-degree cameras.

Both models are equipped with a digital control panel: a diagonal of 7 inches for CS35 Plus and 10.25 inches for CS55 Plus. The dimensions of the multimedia system sensor screen also impress: CS35 Plus – 10 inches, CS55 Plus – 12.3 inches. CS55 Plus is packed with Pioneer professional audio sound.
Changan CS55 Plus and CS35 Plus are an ideal urban mixture: big city dynamics, technology esthetics, conceptual design. And the attractive price: from 11,290,000 tenge for CS35 Plus and from 11,990,000 tenge for the senior CS55 Plus.
