First Motor Group to Be Astana Motor’s eighth Distributor

Astana Motors and Chery Automobile Co., Ltd signed a distribution agreement, where China’s leading car manufacturer grants the right to represent Chery in Kazakhstan to official distributor First Motor Group, which is part of Astana Motors.

The official signing ceremony took place the day before, on September 28, 2021, via a teleconference between Almaty, Kazakhstan, and Wuhu, Anhui Province, the People’s Republic of China.

Thus, Astana Motors got its eighth distributor and added the thirteenth brand to its portfolio.

Impressive design, high technologies, comfort and high safety level have won Chery recognition in the cities of Russia, Brazil, Chili and other countries. According to Chery Automobile Co., Ltd, Tiggo 7 Pro, Tiggo 8 Pro and other models of the new Pro Family series based on Chery’s state-of-the-art technologies will start coming to Kazakhstan before the end of 2021. Premium-class Chery cars are adapted to Kazakhstan’s climate.

Zhang Guibing, President of Chery International, has noted during the signing ceremony that the company has been the leading Chinese car exporter for 18 consecutive years. Export has more than doubled in the recent years, showing a record-breaking result for the company.

Kazakhstan is the most promising market in Central Asia, and Astana Motors is the country’s leading car company with a professional team and a vast experience. Chery’s dealer network in Kazakhstan will start from Nur-Sultan and Almaty. It is planned for Chery’s dealer network in Kazakhstan to have nine car centers in 2022, and in 2023 this number is expected to grow to 17.
