The Korean premium automotive brand Genesis is expanding its presence in Kazakhstan through a new retail format. Since May 2026, Genesis vehicles have been available for purchase and servicing through Hyundai’s official dealer network across the country.

Customers can now receive consultations, book test drives, purchase vehicles, and access after-sales services either at the flagship Genesis dealership or at authorized Hyundai dealerships in nine cities across Kazakhstan: Astana, Almaty, Shymkent, Aktau, Karaganda, Kostanay, Pavlodar, Taraz, and Ust-Kamenogorsk.

The full current Genesis lineup is available, including the GV70, GV80 and GV80 Coupe SUVs, as well as the G80 and G90 sedans and the flagship G90 Long Wheelbase. Prices start from KZT 28.3 million. Financing and trade-in programmes are also available.
Customers additionally benefit from a comprehensive after-sales support package. Owners receive five complimentary scheduled maintenance services, as well as a warranty covering up to 100,000 kilometres. This helps reduce ownership costs during the first years of operation while providing additional peace of mind.

For the local market, the initiative represents a distinctive approach: a premium automotive brand has gained access to one of Kazakhstan’s most developed dealer networks. According to Astana Motors, the model is already delivering results. Marat Smagulov, Distribution Director for Hyundai and Genesis in Kazakhstan, noted that dealers have already delivered several Genesis vehicles to customers since the launch of the new sales format.

“Customers have responded positively to this format. We have already completed several Genesis vehicle deliveries, including transactions through our trade-in programme. We are expanding the range of products available to visitors of our dealerships, and Genesis vehicles are now accessible in several cities across Kazakhstan. I am confident our customers will appreciate the style, equipment, and quality of the brand’s premium vehicles,” said Marat Smagulov.
 

Zhanar was among the first customers to purchase a Genesis vehicle through a Hyundai dealership.
“I visited the dealership to explore options for a new car. The consultants suggested that I take a look at the GV70. The first thing I noticed was the red leather interior. I had always dreamed of owning a car with such an interior, and the moment I sat inside, I knew it was the one. I immediately traded in the vehicle I had arrived in and completed the purchase. I am very happy,” she said.

Genesis Auto Kazakhstan, part of Astana Motors, has represented the brand in Kazakhstan since November 2024. Since autumn 2024, Genesis vehicles have been produced at the Hyundai Trans Kazakhstan plant. Local production supports stable vehicle supply and ensures a high level of quality control.
