Exclusive to Kazakhstan: Haval Jolion Now Available in Sapphire Blue

The new Sapphire Blue finish is available exclusively in Kazakhstan and exclusively for the Haval Jolion. The model is now on sale at all authorized Haval dealerships nationwide.

The Haval Jolion crossover is now available in an exclusive Sapphire Blue finish developed specifically for the Kazakhstan market. The new color is offered exclusively on the locally produced Haval Jolion and is available through all authorized Haval dealerships across the country.

Manufactured at Astana Motors Manufacturing Kazakhstan in Almaty, the Haval Jolion is produced locally for the domestic market. Haval’s official distributor in Kazakhstan is Haval Motor Kazakhstan, part of the Astana Motors group.

Inspired by the vast Kazakh steppe after rainfall, the deep evening skies above the Trans-Ili Alatau mountains, and the cool brilliance of the gemstone that lends the color its name, Sapphire Blue delivers a distinctive visual identity that stands out from any other shade in the brand’s global portfolio.

“Today’s customers no longer choose a vehicle based solely on specifications. They care about how it looks in everyday life — arriving home, parked outside the office, or driving toward the mountains. That’s why we created a color unavailable in any other GWM market. Sapphire is about giving owners something truly unique,” said Eduard Kuznetsov, CEO of Haval Motor Kazakhstan.

The Haval Jolion is the brand’s best-selling model in Kazakhstan and one of the most popular compact crossovers in its segment. Its combination of contemporary design, spacious interior and everyday practicality has made it a favorite among local customers. As a result, the model became the first to receive the exclusive Sapphire Blue finish.

In Kazakhstan, the Jolion is available in four trim levels: Elite, Premium, Tech Plus 2WD and Tech Plus 4WD. All versions are equipped with a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission (DCT). Measuring 4,472 mm in length, 1,841 mm in width and 1,574 mm in height, the crossover is well suited for urban driving and parking.

The updated model also features wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, a 50W wireless charging pad, offline voice control with Kazakh-language support, remote engine start, and additional USB Type-A and Type-C ports for both seating rows.

Haval is one of the core brands of Great Wall Motor. In 2025, the brand celebrated five years in Kazakhstan and ranked sixth in the country’s automotive market with sales of 11,688 vehicles, representing a 6.4% increase compared to 2024. Haval’s dealer network currently includes 27 dealerships across 18 cities nationwide.
